Scuba Diving in Sha'ab Umm Usk

Umm Usk consists of a semi-circular lagoon. The entrance is located at the western side of the reef, and is partly blocked by a big egg-shaped patch reef. This part, where to individual reefs meet, is where most scuba diving takes place. Umm Usk is a varied dive site, including large heads, steep reef walls and mushroom-shaped pinnacles.

This dive site is a great night dive due to it's safe overnight mooring in the lagoon. It is intended only for advanced divers, due to large depths. Perfect spot for fans of underwater photography.
