Description
Located on the rocks off Victoria Road near Oudekraal with various entry and exit points from the rocks near the White House. The Antipolis was a large 25000 ton Greek oil tanker wrecked in July 1977 (The Romelia incident).

The Antipolis Wreck was a steel ship, so there are many large pipes, broken hull plating and large valves to be seen inside. Most of the wreck is overgrown with algae with a wide variety of shell fish, and star fish making their home in the wreck as well. This wreck is also a favourite for crayfish that love the dark corners to hide in.

This is an interesting shore dive if you are interested in modern wrecks and is great for a first wreck dive. Surrounded by a kelp forest, the site is very shallow and protected but there can be strong currents inside the wreck.
