Description
This beautiful marine park situated in the northern part of the Straits of Malacca off the State of Kedah, is about 20 nautical miles south of Langkawi Island and 32 nautical miles north of Penang. This marine park covers an area of two nautical miles consists of  four little islands – Pulau Payar (the largest), Pulau Kaca, Pulau Lembu and Pulau Segantang.

Coral Garden has a rocky terrain that is rich in soft coral. Amongst the boulders there are many reef fish such as lionfish, snappers, damselfish and fusiliers. Green moray eels, barracuda and black tip sharks are also a common sight. The only downside is that the plankton-rich waters mean that visibility can be quite low.
